Shalom, Friends of
Israel,
In this newsletter, you
will find several of
this week's leading
relevant headlines and,
perhaps more
importantly, their
tie-in with the Word.
You may/may not have
noticed that these
articles appear on our
blog and/or official
site. This is by design.
However, rest assured,
we will always run them
in our newsletter first,
usually 1-2 days before
posting them to our
site. This puts our
newsletter subscribers
in a favorable, albeit
trivial position as they
see our articles before
they go "live".
Israel is rapidly
approaching one of her
most vulnerable and
dangerous periods in
recent history, and all
signs point to it
getting worse, before it
gets better. Continue to
"pray for the peace of
Jerusalem" (Psa. 122:6);
that "peace be within
thy walls" (Psa. 122:7)
It's been a very active
couple of weeks on the
international stage.
Let's take a look at
some of this week's
headlines.

Rice
Announces Time and
Location for Middle East
Summit
|

"And in that day will I
make Jerusalem a
burdensome stone for all
people: all that burden
themselves with it shall
be cut in pieces, though
all the people of the
earth be gathered
together against it."
Zechariah 12:3
You'll want to lock into
this one, folks.
Herself duped by the
"Palestinian" propaganda
machine, Secretary of
State Condoleezza Rice
has announced the dates
and location for the
Middle East summit--one
of which she was the
chief architect--during
which PM Ehud Olmert is
expected to turn over
East Jerusalem, as well
as Judea and Samaria to
the conglomeration of
Arabs who call
themselves
"Palestinians".
Date: November 15, 2007
Location: Anapolis,
Maryland
Apparently, there are
more concessions that
have been made by Olmert
which are being held
under secrecy, and are
to be unveiled at the
November summit. Reports
indicate that a "draft
of principles" has been
agreed upon between PM
Olmert and PA Chairman
Mahmoud Abbas outlining
a vast assortment of
concessions that will
culminate in the
facilitation of a
"Palestinian" state with
East Jerusalem as its
capital.

REFLECTION: Ahmadinejad
Walked into a Hornet's Nest
at Columbia University |

The variables had fallen
into place rather
nicely: an open
invitation to speak at
the scholarly breeding
grounds for tolerance
and radical thought--the
liberal "marketplace of
ideas" known as Columbia
University--extended to
an anti-Western, Middle
Eastern dictator whose
infatuation with Islamic
eschatology and the
destruction of Israel
were matched only by his
penchant for Holocaust
denial, terror
sponsorship, and
planning the demise of
western civilization.
Indeed, a door, albeit
very small, had been
opened that would
potentially bring
radical Islam one step
closer to its goal:
worldwide domination. If
the destruction of the
West could not be
facilitated quickly
enough on the
battlefields of Babylon,
perhaps it would be more
fruitful to go through
the halls of academe, he
thought. What remained
was a perfectly-set
stage on which he saw an
opportunity he simply
could not pass up.
Divide and conquer. The
reality that soon
followed, however, did
him no favors. There
would be no conquering
of America from within,
on this day. As he
stepped onto the stage
at Columbia University's
Roone Arledge
Auditorium, an eager
Iranian President
Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was
mere seconds away from
an introduction he would
not soon forget.

Bush tells UNHRC to back off
Israel |

Israel -- 14 (74%).
Sudan -- 4 (21%).
Myanmar -- 1 (5%).
Rest of the world -- 0
The above statistics
represent the current,
well-documented record
of resolutions passed by
the United Nations Human
Rights Council
condemning any instances
in which they allege
that a specific country
is guilty of "human
rights violations". As
you can see, the HRC has
a bit of a bias against
Israel, and considers
most instances in which
the Jewish state has
been provoked to the
point of defending
herself more of a threat
to humanity than the
well-documented
instances of genocide in
the Sudan, the
atrocities in
Afghanistan at the hands
of the Taliban, a
19-year reign of terror
in Burma, as well as in
Gaza at the behest of
Hamas. Considering the
fact that Iranian
President Mahmoud
Ahmadinejad can be seen
schmoozing with members
of the HRC and Arab
League in the above
picture, it perhaps may
be safe to assume that
condemning the numerous
incidents involving the
Iranian government's
oppression of its own
people isn't exactly the
Human Rights Council's
first order of business,
either.

"A Lie, Told a Thousand
Times, is Still a Lie." |

Arguably the weakest, most
incompetent U.S. president
to ever walk the West Wing,
Jimmy Carter continues to
unleash his campaign of
anti-Israeli/pro-"Palestinian"
propaganda. The following
presentation, courtesy of
The Terrorism Awareness
Project, examines Carter's
pathological infatuation
with middle eastern
history's most prevalent
myth: "Palestine". Watch "Jimmy
Carter's War Against the
Jews" (click on photo).
